SUMMER FUN PROGRAM 2010
AT FIDDLER'S LANE NURSERY SCHOOLAttention All Moms and Dads:
Looking forward to the warm weather of summer? Want a little free time? Here's your chance.
Fiddler's Lane Nursery School will be offering a four week Summer Fun Program for children ages 2 1/2 to 6 years old (entering pre-school through entering kindergarten). The program runs Monday through Friday, from 9 am until noon. A daily nutritious snack will be provided. Parents are not needed to be helpers.
You may register your child/children for $90 per week or $85 per week if registering for all three weeks. There is no limit on the number of weeks you may register for. Your child does not need to be a registered student of the preschool to register for the Summer Fun program. The program is a combined age program, but to attend your child must be toilet trained and be three years old by December 1, 2010.
Our Summer Fun teacher this year will be Rachel Bryce, who was our assistant teacher for the summer fun program last year. There will be outdoor group games, crafts, songs, stories, water play under the sprinkler, educational activities and more! This year our summer fun session will run from July 19 through August 6. Our weekly themes for this year include:

WEEK 1 (July 12 - 16): Canceled.
WEEK 2 (July 19 - 23):"Once Upon A Time... Disney!" We will read books, sing Disney songs and enjoy art activities relating to some of our favorite characters and stories from all of the classics!
WEEK 3 (July 26 - 30):"Insects and Butterflies." Does it fly? Does it crawl? Does it walk on walls? We will sing songs, read books and enjoy activities all about these cool critters. We will even take out the magnifying glasses for a closer look! This is always a favorite with the kids!!
WEEK 4 (August 2 - August 6):"At the Beach and In the Sand." Let's get together for a five-day beach party, including learning about ocean creatures, beach books and songs, sand-table play, water and of course fun in the sun!

This is a great way to get your children comfortable with a new school setting, or just keep them busy during the long summer months.
Class size is limited to 16 children. REGISTER EARLY SINCE SPACE IS LIMITED!!
